The Right Stuff

We know it’s our team members, both behind the scenes and guest-facing, who help us craft the Augustine Casino experience. It all begins with leadership. Among the Tribe’s talented employees, we pay tribute to the late Harold Rapp, former director of facilities, who was our first employee more than 15 years ago. Although Mr. Rapp passed away in August of 2017, a loss to all, his memory and work live on forever in our hearts. Harold Rapp was a true leader as well as a mentor and pioneer.

With an impressive background as an engineer in the military, Mr. Rapp had the gift of making everyone feel special. He understood how to elicit the best from people, ensuring they continued to achieve and work to receive their certifications. A larger than life presence paired with a tremendous work ethic contributed to his success, as he in turn contributed to ours.

Add to that Jef Bauer, Augustine Casino’s general manager and a creative force behind the operation. Jef is not only at the helm, leading the casino’s operations, but also is a vital brand ambassador; someone who represents Augustine’s culture and values.

He manages an expansive team of workers with strength and proven leadership. There are countless other casino employees who are regularly acknowledged for their contributions, as indicated, further reinforcing our commitment to service.
